Annual Pleasure Tour of Bangladesh Landless & Homeless Housing Limited Held in Gazipur

An annual pleasure tour titled “Annual Pleasure Tour 2025” was held at Fulbaria Tea Garden in Gazipur, organized by Bangladesh Landless & Homeless Housing Limited with the support of the International Press Club and the Bangladesh National News Club. The event was arranged to honor the underprivileged and working-class people of society.

Joining virtually, Mir Ishtiak Ali, General Secretary of the International Press Club and Chairman of the Pakistan Journalists’ Association, said, “Bangladesh Landless & Homeless Housing Limited is a humanitarian organization. The International Press Club always stands beside them. Together, we continue working for the welfare of oppressed people and to build a humanitarian world.”

Awrangzeb Kamal, President of the International Press Club and Dhaka Press Club, delivered his speech as the chief guest. He said, “We have always stood beside the oppressed communities. We are working to improve their quality of life. We remain grateful for the support of Mir Ishtiak Ali, Chairman of the Pakistan Journalists’ Association.”

The program was presided over by Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan, Advisor of the Southern Region Journalists’ Union. In his welcome speech, he stated, “We all should stand beside the poor and marginalized. Serving humanity is an act of worship. It is our duty to support those suffering in the winter season.”

Khan Selim Rahman, President of Bangladesh Central Press Club, attended as the keynote speaker. He said, “Bangladesh Landless & Homeless Housing Limited is an exemplary humanitarian organization that always stands with the oppressed. For this reason, the Bangladesh Central Press Club has continued to support all of their initiatives.”

The event was conducted by Md. Azar Ali, Central General Secretary of the organization. He said, “No matter how many challenges arise, we will remain united and continue supporting the neglected people of society.”

More than a hundred working-class people participated in the day-long picnic and tour. Participants enjoyed the event by preparing food together, sharing meals, and celebrating moments of joy.
